Netherurd Garden House Accessibility Features

Netherurd Garden House features eighteen accessible apartments each with a level access wet room. The garden house has two fully accessible apartments that feature a track ceiling hoist, PAC3 wet room, shower chair, rise & fall bed, private entrance and accessible parking with a level access curb outside the door.

During our development process, our partner in the care industry advised of the great need to have accommodation with interconnecting rooms. Based on that advice both our fully accessible apartments have an interconnecting Studio Apartment ideal for care workers, personal assistants or family members.

Apartment information

Level Access and Accessible Parking

The entire garden house is on one level perfect for friction-free travel between every apartment, hallways and common areas. For guests who require additional mobility support, we have private accessible parking outside of the apartment door.

Walled Garden and Event Field

The Grounds of Netherurd Garden House and our event field are accessible to guests who use wheelchairs or mobility aids. The Garden side of the house has a level access patio with ramp down to the garden.

Level Access Wet Rooms

Every apartment at Netherurd Garden House has a level access wet room with a shower, sink, toilet and mirror. Our Accessible Interconnecting Apartments feature wet rooms with PAC3 fixtures as well as shower and commode chairs.

Hidden Disabilities
