FAQs

Do you provide bedding?

Yes, we provide all bedding including sheets, duvet covers pillow cases and towels.

What time is check in?

The check-in time is 3pm, in some cases, we can check you in earlier. Please contact us in advance to make arrangements

Do you provide a travel cot?

We do not provide travel cots for young children.

How do we get here?

For best results, we recommend using Google Maps to navigate to Netherurd Garden House.

When using other map services or SatNavs please use the term 'Netherurd Garden House' rather than 'Netherurd' as this can take you to other buildings within the estate.

Is there a phone signal?

All phone networks get a good 4g signal in the Garden House and around the estate.

Do you have Smart TVs?

Every apartment has it's own Smart TV with Freesat built-in.

Smart apps include Netflix, Disney+, Paramount Plus, YouTube, Apple TV and more, for a full list of available apps please visit the LG Content Store site. 

Guests are welcome to plug their own Fire Stick, Chromecast or other streaming device into the TV. 

Please note that to use specific apps on any TV guests will need to use their own login. Before checking out please ensure you have logged out of any services.

 

 

Do you have indoor games?

In the main hall, we have table tennis and various board games. We also have indoor Skittles and indoor bowls. 

Most of the games are located within the kitchen storage cupboard running along the west side of the main hall.

Do you have a hot tub?

We can organise a hut tub for your stay. Please contact us in advance so we can organise this for you. Please note that there is an additional charge for the use of a hot tub.

The hut tub can be placed outside the main hall or within the sensory garden next to the Bothy.

Can we bring pets?

Guests can bring service or therapy dogs during their stay, any guests wishing to bring family pets please contact us in advance to discuss. 

Do you provide towels?

Yes, we provide bath towels and hand towels. We also include all bedding including sheets, duvet covers pillow cases.

What time is check out?

The check-out time is 10 am, in some cases, we can allow a later check-out time. Please contact us in advance to make arrangements

Can you provide carers?

Netherurd Garden House does not provide any care staff we provide accommodation only. 

Can we buy food and drink onsite?

We do not provide any food or drink onsite. Netherurd Garden House is a self-catering venue.

We have prepared a list of supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, guests who are coming as part of a group or for a longer stay may want to take advantage of Tesco Home Delivery.

There are takeaways in the area however contacting them in advance is essential.

Can we have a BBQ?

We can provide a BBQ, charcoal and utensils, guests must provide their own food. For health and safety reasons we  do not allow disposable BBQs.

Is there parking?

We have a Car Park just outside the walled garden, there is also accessible parking outside the building. Guests are welcome to drop of passenger and luggage at the door before using the car park.

Do you have WiFi?

We have superfast WiFi throughout the building. There are 2 connection points

Netherurd East and Netheurd West 

Both have the same password

How do the keys work?

For guests booking a single apartment, you will get a standard key.  For groups booking multiple rooms, a wing or the whole house we can arrange a master key.

Can we smoke at Netherurd Garden House?

Smoking is not permitted withing the building, if people wish to smoke please do so outside the walled garden or within the car park area.

All apartments at Netherurd Garden House have kitchen facilities and level-access wet-rooms. Two apartments have ceiling track hoists, electric profile beds and PAC3 fixtures in wet-rooms.
